The title is from the song Let Go by Frou Frou (Imogen Heap). Though not explicitly stated in the story, that was also the song I had in mind when Kris sings to Adam in the bathroom scene. It's a really pretty song, so do check it out.

Voted for Adam for the first time today using Gizmo! It's strange how much I want to help make this guy's dreams come true.

And though I think that an Adam/Kris final might be more damaging to Adam's chances of winning than an Adam/Danny one, I can't help but root for it anyway. No idea if I'm being partially swayed by my inner Kradam fangirl, but these two just make you want to want good things to happen to them, y'know? It's rare enough that two of the most talented contestants are also two of the sweetest and most genuine, but to have them be this close to being the final two? AASLKJFAK *keyboard mash of love* I really really hope they go far, whatever the outcome on the Idol stage - they deserve it so much ♥

Okay, so I really shouldn't be here-exams-blahblah, BUT WTH HAPPENED ON AI THIS WEEK?! O_O I never want to see Adam so sad again, omg *squishes him* :'( ♥ Voter complacency, be gone! I foresee myself using my VOTE-ADAM icon extensively from now on. *ahem* [The studio recording of "Feeling Good" is fantastic btw.]

..Although, if there was any good that come out of the whole thing, it was the Kradam. ;) It doesn't matter if you don't ship them, 'cause even as BFF's, they were so sweet on Results Night. The hug and back-pats and the genuine concern/support for the other - so precious. <3

Last update before I go on hiatus to cram for my exams (starting next Thursday omg >.>) Quite a few icons of the Matt hug from results night, 'cause that was just the sweetest thing. Adam's extended hug made me go aww, and it's awesome how all seven of them seem to genuinely be so close. <3 And why does Adam appear to be such a great hugger?! Another wallpaper of Adam - TOMT!Adam this time :) When I saw him in his TOMT do for the very first time, I actually laughed in shock (in a good way) - this guy just keeps surprising me again and again. 'm digging the suit, and as Paula said, very handsome.

It didn't hurt that he turned in a stellar performance either ;) Heartfelt, tender and omg did anyone else think he looked slightly teary at the end?? <3

I've to admit I didn't know what to think of Ring of Fire the first time I saw it, but with every re-watching of it, I fall more and more in love with it. The sheer nerve of it.. Well, let's put it this way - saying that this guy has balls is a huge understatement. And I flove him for it. The excitement and edge he brings to the AI stage is unlike that by any other contestant in AI history. Let's not forget his pitch-perfect vocals and -

After having a year to calm down from the crazy fangirling of AI 7 (COOKarchiemichaeljohnsjasonomgasklasjl), it's finally time to enter fangirl mode again :D I loved how Cook grew on me last season, both musically and otherwise (gotta love a wordnerd ;D), but I was blown away by a certain contestant before this year's top 13 was even formed - HELLO, ADAM LAMBERT. 8D

Never has there been a more polarising contestant on American Idol. Either way, even the haters can't deny his charisma, stage presence and raw vocal talent. Some people are going to hate his flamboyance (if you're one of them, please don't check out his youtube vids - they'll probably make you burst a blood vessel ;)), but seriously, this guy is mesmorising to watch.

And as if he isn't awesome enough on stage, he's doubly awesome off-screen. He seems like a genuinely nice guy - personable, doesn't take himself too seriously, not self-absorbed, etc. Plus, he's articulate and charming.. OH AND HOT. LOL all the better for superficial fangirls graphic-makers like me, then. 8D

Oh and I flove that he kisses boys.. what? 0:)

Anyway, Adam did great today. Also, loved that Black and White's about equality, and how affected he was by the judges' comments.. Who else wanted to give him a big hug omg? So to kick the season off, here's a wallpaper I made of Adam being fierce as always. <3

Those on my f-list who don't read/watch Death Note might not know who L is.. WELL, HE'S ONLY ONE OF THE AWESOMEST CHARACTERS AROUND 8DDD

For the benefit of those who don't know him, he's a super genius who binges on sugar non-stop. He's rather socially inept but is really rather adorable in his.. socially inept way? <3 He hunches and has permanent "eyebags" 'cause he never sleeps, though the effect is quite kohl-lined smoky-eyed Jack Sparrowesque HOT. xD

..I've also probably been fairly influenced by the hotness of the actor that played him in the Death Note movies (i.e. Kenichi Matsuyama ♥) *cough*

Sorry for the long hiatus - I was busy with a temp job (8.30am-6pm, 5 days a week :p).. As for what good's come from it - I've a bit more money in my pocket and I've become pretty darn good with scanners XD

Now that I'm free from trudging around in high heels again, I'm back to graphic-making :D I'm participating in some icontests (ai7_icontest, davidcook_ic) but I'll only be posting those icons after the rounds are over.. If you're a budding iconner, do join too! The more the merrier :)

As for wallpapers, I've been seriously craving light-coloured ones after all the dark ones I've made/seen.. And since I couldn't find any, well, I made one myself X)
